There  are tennis raquets and tennis balls for you to use in the apartment. Drive out of the apartment so you are on the road in front of the balcony (should be on your right) drive to the traffic lights and turn left. The tennis courts are on your left about 1km away.

There are numerous water based activities to enjoy during your time in Denia. Whether it’s taking a harbour tour or cruise, relaxing on a yacht, windsurfing, kite surfing or taking a boat around the coast to Javea/Xabia, calpe and Altea, there is so much to choose from.

Boat trip to Javea/Xabia, Calpe and Altea.

From The Harbour in the Town Centre you can take a boat trip around the coast. Even though we have never been as far as Calpe or Altea by boat we have taken the Javea/Xabia (The costa Blanca North has two dialects so signs either have both versions or one or the other) boat around the cliffs. This is amazing as you see the cliffs and mountains from a different perspective. Some of the boats have glass viewing areas below decks so you can see the wonderful marine life en route.

You can take a street train www.tramalicante.es from Denia town centre down to Alicante along the coast and through the orange and olive groves meandering through the gentle mountain slopes and small towns.

The journey is very pleasant and if you want to carry on through to Alicante you will need to change platforms at Benidorm. The only downside to this is it is quite a long journey. Maybe something to do on a day when you want to be out of the sun for a while.
